Prologue: Yoonicorn's Journey in Europe

Prologue

Life is long. A travel is short. When you see life as a travel, however, all travels we've done are lifelong.
No matter how long one is, a meaningful travel changes one's life.

My travel to Central-Eastern Europe in this summer 2013 reflected my motto very well as above. It was a planned, three-week-long, solo trip. Some people say a backpack trip to a place you've never been to is a challenge. For me, it wasn't merely a worthwhile challenge; it was a lengthy non-rehearsed musical time to time with sweet and melancholic tunes. A boot camp to an European life that I want to pursue someday. A slap on my face from the real world. A movie with beautiful songs sung by strangers and many friends I made along the way. And, how much sweetness of world I felt and found after I stepped my (current) home Halifax again!

This blog is made for the purpose of sharing the stories of my European trip with all of you. Hope the picture at the top of this post helps you see where I had been to. Most of the places I visited were planned destinations, but the colours of arrows do not indicate anything. I sincerely hope you will get the bits of the emotions, moments, impressions as well as life learning that I had while I was staying in Europe.
